I am relatively new to 3D modelling having only started september 2011. I've come to realise that I would improve faster if I got advice from other modellers, and from a quick look through the forums, this is certainly a good place to start.

I have been teaching myself through books, online tutorials, and a little bit of messing about with 3DS Max. 

At the moment, I'm trying many areas of modelling to see where I'm most comfortable. So far, small man-made objects (such as torches or iPod) are my biggest strength, but I'm trying to improve in vehical modelling, buildings, and natural objects.

I may have a lot to learn about 3D modelling, but I am determined to do it professionally.
