G'day,

I've been trying to learn ZBrush on and off for many months now, but with a full time job (in a different area) and family, the only time I've had to learn is late night youtube and freebe google clips I could find.
I finally took the plunge and purchased the ZBrush Bundle over the weekend, had no worries downloading it and cranked up the introduction video.

With a note book in hand and my zbrush open up, I'm almost through the introduction video and have learnt more in just this weekend then I have in the previous months.
I've found it handy to scribble notes down with what the lesson was and what chapter / time it was in the lesson, so any time I need to refer back, I can just go straight to it in the video clip.

Can't wait to find some more spare time this weekend and crank it up again, enjoying it a great amount!
It's given me a great deal of confidence to get back into modeling.

Cheers!

@grady719

You shouldn't really have an issues as 99.8% of all these tutorials use ZBrush Smiling

There is a small amount of Maya work in the ZBrush4 Introduction and Max rendering in the ZBrush Hardsurface, but nothing you couldn't do it Maya.

I currently use Maya instead of 3DsMax will this be a problem working with this product?

@rivi36also

You definitely don't need internet access to watch the DVD. Smiling

The videos are all stored physically on the disc, so there is no reason that you would require an internet connection unless you are trying to view the streaming version, which is a separate product.

If you are having issue with playing your DVD please make a support ticket and we will be able to help you out. Smiling

I am a little lost, I bought the DVD & Download option so that I could learn and work on my laptop while on the road sometimes. I am finding that the DVD is not a DVD at all, instead it is just a disk that links to the streaming video. I don't know if I have a faulty disk or if the DVD is set up so that no matter what you need to have internet access to watch the lessons. Is that the way it is suppose to be? Why wouldn't someone just spend the lesser amount to just get the download? I would like to purchase more off this site, but I don't always have access to the internet so am I screwed?
