Thinking Particles Part 1 - A Comprehensive Introduction


In this DVD Hristo Velev starts from the very beginning by explaining what Thinking Particles actually is and then begins to build upon a solid foundation of theory and technical knowledge of the program. From there Hristo goes through an extensive set of basic concepts to guide you through the massive amount of features in TP4. During that time he creates several practical effects that are very useful in production.

After the basic concepts are covered he then goes through creating an entire project from start to finish to help you understand the entire process. With over 9 hours of training this DVD will help you understand Thinking Particles and start creating amazing effects.

Hristo Velev has worked on the movie '2012' as a VFX Artist and has been passionate about effects and also video training for many years. Hristo is known for his many hours of free training on other subjects and is currently working in Berlin at Pixomondo.

i have a problem , after i installed thinking particle and creaked it it give me a box that say i have to put a( server ip/name-server port-password),please can anyone help me with my problem i cant work on the tutorial.

Ok i just got 3ds max 2012 and tp r4 installed at the office but still use 3ds max 2011 on my laptop. When i was going through this tutorial and even using the same settings i sometimes get different results when working with 3ds max 2012, but i try it out on the 2011 and i get the same results as the one in the tutorial. i want to know if the problem is with 3ds max 2012 or tp r4

Can anyone say what script / plugin did eat3d used in this video to create objects in viewport . It's like Nuke-Style that you press Tab and a dropdown will appear in viewport where you can type commands like "teap" and Teapot will appear in the list and you create Teapot instantly.

does this require me to have anything other than what comes with 3ds Max? if it does what other programs will i need. this dvd looks amazing and am intersted in buying it but dont wanna spend money if its gonna be using other programs besides 3ds max.

I got this and im excited to start, but where do i get the "thinking particles" download so i can start? i just got 3ds max 2012 and it doesn't come with it so it looks like i have to download, but where do i go?
