In this demonstration, Erasmus Brosdau composites a 3d render onto a background plate.

He shows how to efficiently integrate the rendered mech asset onto a photographic background in Photoshop with a focus realism by using many tips and tricks such as adding noise, blurring the image, adjusting the levels and curves and painting in blades of grass to give the asset a solid feel.
