Bear in mind, this techniques shown in the video work exactly the same for both the C2 SDK (The one I used in the video) AND the Free SDK.
Also, in the end of the movie, I forget to mention the LOD debug command, which is e_debugdraw3(You'll see a 1/3 on the objects pivot, meaning you are currently seeing LOD 1 out of 3)
@Marawan, I am using Outlinerplugin for 3DsMax, just type outliner3dsmax on google!

Hello Helder, I wonder how do I install CryMaxTools, already put in the folder statup but does not run. Thanks for the great tutorial.
As for the crymaxtools, just run the bat file and tell the window in which drive 3DsMax is installed. (just press C if you have it installed on the C: drive)

I use 32bit win7, modsdk downloaded the 1.0 and has not worked. I downloaded the 1.1 installed but did not come with the 32bit sandbox 3. I have 3 sandbox, but he can not open the maps in Crysis 2. Can you help me?

Hi,I made a model for uni project in google sketchup with textures on it. Because Playup(the exporter for Sketchup)could not generate cgf.file for my model, so I'm using 3ds.Max exporter as an indirect method, the problem is how do I keep those textures from Sketchup? Please help me !!!

I am having problems importing my buildings into cryengine 3... here are my steps.
first i create a building with "sweet home 3d" and texture it and export as .obj
second i import into 3dsmax
i set up a dummy at 0,0,0 and i make sure the building obj is also set to 0,0,0
link the 2 in nodes and export with the crymax plug as stated in http://eat3d.com/free/cryengine_3dsmax
I open cryengine 3 and have no object for my building in goementity.i have checked in brushes and all other categories as well.I have even exported with cryengine already open... still nothing.
Any help is much appreciated.
p.s. the plugin settings for the crymax plug always opens when i open 3dsmax.

DCastro, try this if you're having problems instaling the plugins.
