It's not glass, but rather the creation of the surface of plastic bottles!!

Here is a picture of plastic bottles!! This image can be seen that it is not glass!!! Likely to create video shows a realistic plastic rather than glass !!!........

Hey prof,

the effect is deliberately exaggerated in the video to show what you can achieve with it. Obviously you should play with the shader settings to get the look that you need (turn down the detail bump mapping and decrease the tiling, change the shader color settings and opacity values)

The larger the glass surface the more convincing it will be. The look of the glass itself is depending a lot on the lighting situation and cubemap in the level so just play with those as well to get a more convincing result.

totally agree that the piece looks more plastic than glass. good illustration of purpose and technique but should have shown a much subtler effect for glass.

Nice tut, but bad example, this frame is to "strong" for this type of glass, "strong" glass in this case will much more nicer. But any way, this is a good technique, and using it right place it will give good results
