UVW coordinates when using Max 2008?

I'm using Max 2008, and I understand the files originate from 2009.

What do I do for getting the UVW coordinates when importing the OBJ files? I REALLY don't want to unwrap all of this (since it's not the focus of the DVD). Any suggestions? Perhaps I missed a step.

When you import the obj files make sure you have the texture coordinate box checked. I did a test to make sure just now and the objs do have UVs.
Im referring to the low res, the high res does not have UVs. Try it and let us know.

Strange, I thought I tried that and it didn't work, but I just did it again and it did. In any case, thanks, got it!
