Atomic Games... no more
So i just had my cherry poped this morning and had my first studio shut down.
Anyone have any words of advice who have been laid off before?
Im sorry to hear that Jet :S
I really hope you get back on your feet really soon mate.
Sorry Jet. Been through it three times now. Still looking actually.
Use the time on your folio and resume like Riki said . Learn, exercise, stay busy and productive. In your future interviews count on companies asking what you've done with your downtime. If you go to them and show/say well I've been learning Zbrush or scripting now that I have extra time it will go a long way towards getting hired.
Best of success.
Mark
The only advice I can give is, "Welcome to the Game Industry"!
Sorry, but it happens to the best of us....just keep learning and pushing your artwork. Tough times these days for everyone.
Started my new job at Vicious Cycle yesterday!
Nice one Jet
Good luck mate!

I read that this morning on your facebook. Sorry about the loss my friend, a lot of other people are in the same boat. I know they are looking for experienced people in the UK, are you willing to relocate?
In the mean time, polish your port and resume then start emailing like crazy. Keep us up to date on what happens!
