[WIP][Video] The Last Phoenix: Burn The World to Life
The Last Phoenix is an aerial melee combat game that puts the player in control of a majestic fire-bird, tasked with restoring the world from the monstrous carrion-bird bent on reducing it to horrid decay. With the power to restore the world as it flies, the phoenix can regenerate plant-life and return the ruined civilization to vibrant colour. As it is beset by Crows and Carrion, the Phoenix can dash, slash and shred enemies apart in order to restore the Gaia Nodes that have fallen into decay.
Created by Team Eyebeam of Vancouver Film School’s Game Design program. The team consists of five members. David W. Dryden is the Project Manager and in charge of Level Design for the Harbour and City areas. Ian Mac Gregor is one of the artists on the team, responsible for creating the Phoenix character. Rishi Patkar is the Technical Artist and Level Designer responsible for the Plain and Lake regions. Marc St-Onge is the sole programmer, developing the game through Unreal Script.
