RPG7 WIP

currently 4k but will down res to 2k when finished.

Just a very basic light setup in Marmoset. Just blocking out base colors. going to start material definition tomorrow morning. Comments and critique are welcome!

Texture update. been taking longer than i had initially expected but I'm really trying to push my shapes and material definition. Critiques are always welcome. Thanks to Fewes (polycount) for helping me with the wood!

I do think the purplish color is a bit overpowering though. The texturing looks really nice Smiling

Thanks Jeremty! Im fairly proud of the wooden tube. When you say "purple" do you mean the background? Any suggestion for color choice on the vignette?

I think the center of the vignette is just a bit too high in opacity. I like the purple vignette color though. Also, I didn't see it before, but that black metal is way too clean. It feels odd that everything else is scratched up yet that is pristine. Perhaps adding some nice scratches and smudges on it would bring it to life Smiling

Nice update! Smiling

I am not familiar with all the light types that exist in Marmoset, but you could just use 3 omni (point) lights to represent the direct, indirect, and fill or rim lights. Then just place them and modify them to fit the proper power and exposure.

Added wood damage to normal and made the wood darker.

Any last words, final thoughts?

Well i decide to fix the LP so that it was more FPS friendly. and tweaked the HP a bit too. not to mention my uv's a packed more efficiently now. 7843 Tris.

Just some base textures. I think I might add some ace bandage/tape on the grip. The UV islands are %10 bigger and the iron sights are twice as big. I did a much better job on the packing. Any critiques or ideas?
