KT-S747 Pistol
So here is the latest project. It going to be part of a game project a friend of mine and i are wanting to do. Figured a pistol would be the most challenging for Animations, FOV setting on sight in, Screen particles, Etc. So what better to start with?
Been working on it for two days on and off. All zbrush except lettering. Lettering came from max. C&C always welcome!
Awesome Work, Waiting for more updates
What is the poly count?
Thanks
and about 11.4 Mil ATM.
Ok Nice Are you planning to make a low poly. and bake it?
Yep. Thats always the plan, Sometimes doesnt get that far though
This time however, Its for a certain project, Is kinda of a must. So i'm going to make a piont to go all the way with. It will be our base for creating sight particles, Laser effects, Flashlights, Animation, Etc. So getting this done kinda kicks all that off.
:o this looks fantastic
After making this gun do you prefer to making guns in 3Ds Max or Zbrush?
As far as the two programs go, In general, Zbrush suits me far better. Better interface, more intuitive, less restrictive. I have worked in 3ds max a bit, Maybe not enough to make a fair decision, But the three things i envy about 3ds max is its rendering power, Its unwrapping function, And its "Cleanness". Meaning every edge is "perfect" or exactly the way you made it. Whereas zbrush, you have a ton of control over your edges, But they are often varied, and unpredictable. I think it comes down to the type of person you are, honestly, And I’m just not one to think out every step of my project, Think about how i will execute each step, Then execute them. Because of this, i use zbrush.
In conclusion: Zbrush
and thanks alkow
