Construction Worker Zombie Survivor
Added a compressor unit on his back that powers nail guns that shoot railroad spikes.

Added more detail to boots and fixed the arm length. Little too short

those are some nice boots lol great job
I dont know how i missed this thread...
Nice job!
As for crits. the trousers looks a little flat and straight...check out the Gunslinger thread over at PC for some inspiration
awesome critique metalliandy. Now that i see that ref image you posted i'm for sure gonna remake the pants. Thank you so much man.
No problem!
I cant wait to see an update
Now we are cooking!

Nice bro
Perhaps the color green might not be the best for the vest? Him being a construction worker I would expect him to possibly be wearing the orange and yellow combo, but perhaps a bit faded?
Great job though! Really coming along nicely!

Freakin sweet! Much better for sure man
Nicely done.

Nice Matcap switch. Really brings the polypaint to life a lot more
-Jeremy-
tht is cool....waiting for the low poly..how much time did it take to sculpt it out...do u make a base mesh or directly sculpt in zbrush
It took me almost 2 weeks to sculpt this out and yeah every piece was created as a basemesh in 3dsmax and exported into zbrush. I'm currently waiting for my rig to meet me. As i sent it out when i moved so i'll be offline for the better part of a week
Really awesome work dude !
Retop and unwrapping WIP, I like to retop and then unwrap right after instead of retoping everything and then unwrapping everything. Breaking up the boring work seems to keep me motivated and I tend to work faster when i'm not unwrapping things over and over one after another. Maybe this workflow will work for you too...
Minor stretching in the UV's but it's just a quick unwrap and gonna go through and finalize it once everything is together.
Looks nice man!
What is the final tri count?
I'm gonna go kinda high on this one... Cuz I want it to double as a cinematic character. So it's gonna be about 20,000 tri's in total
nice job! I like it.
Looking sick brosky! Whats the poly count?
-Jeremy-
Nice job! No problem!
No problem!
you are making some great progress
Keep it up!
Looking sick bro
Might change the spec a bit. Seems a bit sharp.
-Jeremy-
yeah, damn marmoset seems to do that to everything lol
Hell yeah, he has been kicking some serious zombie butt!
Love the update!

So for some reason my computer decided to crap out (angry face) and while I was in windows safe mode backing some stuff up apparently it corrupted a shit ton of files and a couple pieces or art are gone now (super angry face) not sure if this guy has been affected or not. But if he is... i guess this is gonna be done (sad face) cross your fingers.
Oh man
I hope all goes well and you can extract the files you need.
Corrupt is a word I loath. I hate it when technology decides it has a hatred for you.
-Jeremy-
this is great.
very inspiring as well. keep up the good work.
So i got my stuff back. A recent file for this character was corrupted but nothing I can't go back and fix in a day. I gave him a pose and it looks promising. Can't wait to throw him in the UDK and get some nice portfolio shots up soon
Glad to hear it bud
-Jeremy-
Ahh great!
Cant wait to see some more stuff!
HAHA DUDE SICK! Love the pose ^^
-Jeremy-
Wow, really cool job with this one, be proud of yourself man!
Can´t wait to see some more characters from you.
Agreed
Looks awesome!
Wow guys. Thanks so much for the support.
I have optimized this guy down a few thousand polys. I will post new updates hopefully tomorrow. After I optimize him a little more I will be making his railroad spike guns and sledge hammers

This is really looking amazing bro. I will most definitely be keeping in touch with you on here and TS. Really looking sweet so far.
Keep it up!
