Hi man, Thanks you very much for the promote... I'm so happy now XD...

But yeah these are just hi rez meshes really so far that i rendered in passes and done some post production in Photoshop.. none of them are baked yet.. that's what Im trying to work on at the moment... i was really inspired by your Dozer tutorial for the train ... but i will keep updating on my baking process

Thank you very much once again

@Kaze, its not really that hard to be honest< when i start building the shapes, i try to brake it down to simple spheres, cylinders and cubes, and then just starting adding edges and going higher and higher, and + the nice render helps to sell it as well... here is a wire frame for the gun

thank you very much guys for kind words, i have decided to show you something i did not long ago as well, this is more of a pixar sort of style i was trying to get with this image...

I have made it for a short film that i was planning to do as my project in university, but i have decided to go in different detection, so here it is

Happy you are leaving that last image behind and moving in your new direction.

Keep up the great work

Which Course and University are you at? Would you leave your course to start work?

hehe thanks, im in Hertfordshire University, Its Near London,i just swoped from 3D Animation to games art
Well it would depend on the opportunity of the work really, if i would get a job offer and its something long term , i could take a year of university to try it out, but its a tricky question XD

I especially like the train, nice surface and detail.

Wow man Awesome renders here! I wouldn't be able to tell if you are a student or a professional.

I have a few questions. What program did you use to render your images?

Also I understand you rendered them in passes. I was wondering where did you learn how to make passes such as those. they look awesome, and I was wondering if your learned your techniques from a particular tutorial. I am really interested on how your textured or made passes for that nice 3d girl as well. I am planning to work a short film and I am looking for that type of feel for my character. I am self taught artist so I don't have to much to rely on, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for your time!

hi man, well i use 3ds max to render things out, well there are lot of great tutorials on how to render things in passes, on eat 3d theres a free one for the portrait head, and im not shore, but i think the Robot tutorial have same thing there as well, but im not shore about that.. um to render in passes u can set up rendering pass in render menu thats for alpha and for Ao and defuse) and for the other phases, i just simply render out from same camera but with different materials. but if u want to make a short film, that method would be a bit more complicated, cause it only works good for the still images, u still need pases for animation such as AO and alphas, and Zdepth but u would need to texture everything properly... but say on my renders i use chrome render for the scratches so what you could do instead is make blending materials in 3ds max or maya and render out this way... good luck on your film, and if you need any help you can write me a PM

Hey thank you for the response! I will have to check out that free portrait head tutorial that is available. Thanks for the info on the rendering passes. There are some animation tutorials that I will probably invest in the future.

anyways, again, awesome work man! I would love to see more, so keep posting if you want to. good luck with everything!

geate Work man, you just hit the nail right on the head.
can you help me to do such a render since i am self taught.
I will be much grateful.
thanks

This is hot stuff indeed ! The 3 first images are incredibly realistic, couldn't tell which one i Line most. What software did you use to create the gun and the sniper ?

I like the self portrait but maybe the shoulders should be a bit wider for your size (1/3 of the face for each).

Wanna see more !
