iOS Plane velocity broken.

I'm working with the newest version of UDK (May 2012) and the plane velocity does not appear to fly correctly. It works as long as the plane is facing a specific rotation (I believe it's between 135 and 314 degrees) but when you turn it it simply flies vertically. This does not happen on the preview so it appears to be something I did but the set velocity is identical.

Where does the velocity direction come from?  tried creating a small kismet sequence that converted degrees into unrealrotation but that also had no effect.

I am having the same problem. At some some it started to work properly, when i set in
SetVelocity->VelocityDirection->x = -40, (Negative value instead of positive). But suddenly, plane started to fly backwards, negative x. I turned again x to a positive value but continued to move upwards vertically.
Another problem is that if i rotate both the plane and the camera in the editor, whenever i press play both return to the first angle position they were when i configured matinee.

Well It's good to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I still have not found a fix for the velocity thing myself.

In terms of the rotation, That's because you have a keyframe on your matinee and simply need to re adjust it. This is especially true if you have a movement track. Check if your camera is hard attached.
