Well it's Christmas, and if everyone on this forum didn't get a game for Christmas, then people don't know us very well! haha

I got Uncharted 2, been waiting ages to play it because i knew i would get it for xmas I didn't buy it earlier. Unfortunately it isn't very fun for people to watch me play as I find myself just looking at textures and effects lol

Oh and if you already have these games, no spoilers!

Nice score Jackyboy. I love Uncharted 2

I know what you mean! I will stop in some places and stare at the environments/effects, etc, and rebuild them in my head for practice..... And because they are just crazy gorgeous.

Im a total oddball with this, but Im super excited about getting and playing the following games for Christmas:

Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Im a few hours into this game and so far its soo rich!

Mario Kart Wii: Why did it take till now to get this game?? Amazing game and so much fun with the family!

Also the new mario brothers for wii is amazing, we already beat it though but its great.

So the kind of games I really like, are the kind of games I would never work on, haha.

I am a giant fan of Zelda as well. I have been playing that thing since the original came out on the nintendo. Then I went to N64 and Zelda Ocorina of Time, etc etc. I have yet been able to beat Zelda Twilight Princess. I'm about 92 percent and having to collect those dang ghosts witch takes years to do without a guide.

@Riki - How is Zelda Spirit Tracks? Everyone said it was a bit short and had some really disappointing gameplay, BUT.... I don't really think that is the case, plus, they aren't too big of Zelda fans anyway. What would you rate it? I am going to be buying it on New Years Day

(My favorite Zelda though, is still Zelda The Wind waker for the gamecube.)

just Finished Assassin's Creed 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, both great games. The ending of AC2 has a weird twist at the end and my ending in DAO was overall good will some bittersweet endings. I hope DAO doesn't turn into Jade Empire where they only make one game of it.

Update:

I'm off to beat Star Ocean: The Last Hope. (This might take me a while)

Yesterday I got Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for PS3. Heard a lot of good things about this game so I'm curious :)

@ Rob,

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Rocks. I played it for about 1 1/2 years on ps3. Probably one of the most addicting fps games on console. I finally gave up when I reach 34 Elite online. It was crazy ridiculous! 1,800,000 Xp just to level up again. And each kill is like 10 xp Crazy difficult

I wish I owned a PS3 so that I could play Uncharted 2. I'm hoping I have enough money to go to GDC 2010 and find out how they made some of their environments and artwork.

@ Ceribral:
Just played a part of the Story and as a real gamer I started on the hardest difficulty, since games are way too easy these days...
Controls react kinda slow and there's a lot of button combinations to figure out, but I think I'll like this game. Especially the Split Screen option Smiling

Well I have hardly played it, but it was highly recommended to me by a friend.

It looks good but apparently in order to get the most from the game you have to like cutscenes, and being an impatient man i skip them Sticking out tongue

If your into that genre its a definite must, im not particularly into that genre and I still bought it.

I liked it, but I need someone to complete the campaign with as its a tad boring singleplayer and all my mates who bought it on release cba to finish the campaign again Sad

I like the art style, I think the game would also be less tedious with friends. Overall a good title but one that gets boring on your own after a few hours.
