Best Free Game Development Software

After finding a fair amount of choice I'd like to know what the best free game devlopment software is such as UDK, CDK, Unity, etc.

it depends on ur work and skill and of course time each one has its own pros and cons but in my personal opinion udk can be the best choice since it is more flexible

Thanks for replying.

My skills include Maya, Photoshop and Ableton which all would be useful for game development. And I already know some UDK but that dosen't stop me from learning anything else. As for time I'm only 14 so have plenty.
