Hey everyone. I have noticed a pretty cool effect in several games (Including games made with unreal 3 technology) that contain a custom flare/emission effect. Here are some examples of this in the images below. I was wondering if this effect was created using a frontal texture in the luminescence channel? I have fiddled around with it and am coming up short.
If anyone has any thoughts please share.
