Best Regards

Rabitagore

Hi guys this is my first participation in this forum and I am very happy to start with  .My concept is very simple I will try to translate in a hight poly model a sortlike sci-fi military vehicle dedicated as contra-riot for the units of security forces  in a megacity. My reference are a view of a Merkava ,a dropship model from the project film "the last cause " and a sketch from the sam Brown blog .=)

Looking cool so far!
Critique: I would try to give the tread's some unique shapes. As of now, its almost destracting because they are a simple single shape that is so overwhelmingly repeated, its hard to focus on other parts of the vehicle.

Perhaps taking that shape and breaking it up into a few tread patterns would help?

Keep up the great work Smiling

Nice start Smiling

I would maybe add the vertical lines that go around the edge of the tyre, that would help break it up Smiling

Thank you for your advice, I tried to make the wheels more interesting and I also changed the general scale of the vehicle. I think I have my shape and I'll stick with, I beginning  to see where I ll go ...

I love the buggy like shapes. I'm also loving the design, although I see your reference of scale there and I'm like: "ohh...".

Simply cos neither in your WB or your sketch, i see a single scale reference in your model. Anything the viewer is familiar with will help, a window, a door, a hatch, a cockpit, a panel, etc.

Cos at the moment it's looking like it could be of any scale due to it's design.

other than that, spot on! I'm sure you'll gain a lot of points coming up with your own design yourself!

Excellent sketch. I agree with -HP- about the scale. Right now, I'm using the turret? on the top to get a sense of the scale and it seems like this will be a huge vehicle.

Nice sketch again, thumbs up.

I decided to not stick any longer with my sketch concept.
Because it's time to give here with more consistency in the details to improve the general design of this vehicle .
