Very nicely done dude.

Once the fabric is done, it will be even more awesome!

Excellent work.

Really nice stuff! Love how this is coming out. Although the cloth seems way to think. I would try and make it a good inch - 2 inches thick. This almost seems like a good 8 - 10 inches thick.

Can't wait to see more! Smiling

This thing is a monster! like it a lot! The cloth is not reading like cloth at the moment, more like a giant blob.  Other than i would say its coming along nicely!

Thx Smiling ! Yea I try different thing for the cloth, I have to say this is the most difficult part for me. I have not doing a lot of organic stuff so I will try to do my best Smiling ! and the shader doesnt help lol. For the fabric thing I will try to give a more diffuse material! I will try to finish that model this weekend !

my cloth workflow is quiet simple. Building up the main form of the cloth from a simple plane with extruding edges, then I do a simulation with simcloth(it's a fantastic plugin IMO) and I finish the small details in zbrush.

the only thing i dont like is the cloth. ur gonna have to find a way to realistically make it look secured over the truck wth rope or something. i'v never tried to do something like that beffor, but id imagine it'd be tricky. anyhow, best of luck on that. xD

Just a quick reminder about the process for your final submission Smiling

Please ensure that your final submission has everything that is required for entry, edited into your first post (beauty shot's and turntables etc.)

  • You must provide an unsmoothed wireframe beauty shot of the finished model, from multiple angles.
  • You must submit at least 1 final beauty shot that is at least 1280x720.
  • You must submit at least 1 turnaround movie of the vehicle created in any application of your choice.
  • Post your final image on the first post in your thread using our "File Attachments" system.
  • Upload your video turnaround to a popular video sharing site (Youtube, Vimeo, etc) and post the link/embed in the first post of your thread in the " Video Link" field.

Also please make sure that you edit the title of your thread to have - Final at the end.

e.g. High Poly Vehicle - metalliandy - Final

Thanks and good luck! Smiling

Looks awesome Olivier! I really like how you incorporated some soft and organic surfaces as well. You should definately finish this bad boy up with texturing when you find the time in the future.

My head is telling me that if Reavers had trucks they would look like this. This is a fun model. Good Luck.
