Smiling Finally had some free time this wknd!  The front looks pretty but I have hid all the back and the inside hasnt even been fully blocked out yet.  I think once I have done the big easier bits I will have to slow down a lot and do a lot of refining.  Planning on doing some zbrush bits too, (open canopy and seats) which will be a challenge as im still relativly new with it.

Woah.... That was a surprise lol.
I honestly don't think this helps the design imo. Perhaps a mounted weapon on the back of the jeep would fit better?

yesh i get that it looks a bit odd atm, i think its coz they are floating and havent been positioned right, this is what im going for....

Only started em a couple hours ago so there is a lot to do on them yet! Smiling

Great reference Goten
@JSargent - Even though it might exist in real life, doesn't mean its generally aesthetic to the eye. In the end its your choice to outfit the vehicle how you see fit. Although, if you have an opportunity to improve upon the design, its always good to do so Smiling

Once again, great work on this vehicle so far! I really am enjoying your updates Laughing out loud

Just started on the sculpt for the seats. Im still fairly new to zbrush so feel free to crit anything about them. Gonna put them on to the model soon, just did a mega quick render of the unsculpted versions of the seats to show how they will fit on.

nice work! im not a big fan of how u display ur models. its way too bright, so its hard to get a good read on the smaller details.

another quick update.  Rooster I totally agree about the renders, i was being lazy! I will try to sort it out, I think this one is a little better but i need to work on my materials.  Anyway, started the gun and did some other bits.  Need to finish the gun and make the big part that attaches it to the tripod.

Just a quick reminder about the process for your final submission Smiling

Please ensure that your final submission has everything that is required for entry, edited into your first post (beauty shot's and turntables etc.)

  • You must provide an unsmoothed wireframe beauty shot of the finished model, from multiple angles.
  • You must submit at least 1 final beauty shot that is at least 1280x720.
  • You must submit at least 1 turnaround movie of the vehicle created in any application of your choice.
  • Post your final image on the first post in your thread using our "File Attachments" system.
  • Upload your video turnaround to a popular video sharing site (Youtube, Vimeo, etc) and post the link/embed in the first post of your thread in the " Video Link" field.

Also please make sure that you edit the title of your thread to have - Final at the end.

e.g. High Poly Vehicle - metalliandy - Final

Thanks and good luck! Smiling
