Head Sculpting - Danny Devito as the Penguin :: Final
Here is my final picture and video of my piece 'Danny Devito as the Penguin' Everything was rendered in zbrush (and no fiddling about afterwards) :

Hey all, here is my entry - please let me know if I am breaking the rules in anyway by basing it on a real actor!
Here is a pic of Mr Devito as the Penguin:

And this is the expression I'm try and gonna do :

Ok - here is the start- I'm sculpting him in a neutral position and then will create the expression after he starts to look a bit better!

hey nice start sdabbs!
thanks dude

Here is an update! Still messing around with color (it's really the first time I've textured/colored something so it's taking me a while!) The eyes are terrible and need to be re-done!

Here is another update - just small details are changed (shirt wrinkles etc) Trying to figure out how to do the hair now...

model so far without textures
Fab job! Very realistic so far. Nice color test.
I can't wait for see finish and printed !!!!
Here I've started to texture the teeth!

ANd I've started to add fine detail to his face:

Great update, skin details are really good polypaint to!
Perfect Sean !!!!!
Thanks!
I think the details are a little too harsh at the moment and have to be knocked back a bit!
BTW Kenshiro - I love your ManBat - great work!!
work on the eyes

another update showing further work on the wrinkles, plus added reflections on the eyes and a test render

more angles

started the hair!
and the background test...

hey sdabbs, hey looks better and better. great work
Finally got to finish him!
Amendments I have made include adding extra materials such as the shiny plastic matcap for the shine in his eyes, teeth and around his top to resemble grease stains. I ve also touched up the eyes, and teeth and obvioulsy the hair - I made myself some nice texture qnd alphas for the hair and used a combo of materials to to help make it look greasy.
For the base I created the pattern alpha in photoshop, it consists of lots of little things to do with batman returns, and then I hammered it out to make it look broken and beaten.

Really amazing Sean !!!! i love the base !!!
Thanks Alex
