i worked on the hat (retopologied it), some face details and eyes polypaint to give him more life .

a little pic about my sculpt process .
some words about it : first, i started by a polysphere. no really got an idea of what i wanted to do. so i say to myself : let's start a face !
i decided to stop when i was happy of the result. So i retopologied it . after it just some research,playing with shapes , then i decided to post the funny face ...
(excuse my poor english !)
i also used Zspheres for the hat .

i'm graduate from French art school ( in the holy years of 1996 to 2001).
contemporary art.
i learn 3D by myself cause 3d wasn't very approachable at this time.
tutorials ( eat3D for exemple ^^) , friends and internet are a good way to learn a lot of wonderful stuffs.
contest are nice to test your skill .
dang man, I never went to any art school and the only artist friends I have are in my family and I passed their level years ago. Its just really amazing to see the level of skill in this comp. I know its only my first comp ever ( Ive never entered any 2D comps even though thats what I can actually do well 
)

Wow really nice, great work I know I'm asking a lot of questions about hair, but I'd love to know how you did his beard and sideburns. Let me guess...just sculpted with the slash 2 or 3 brush?
