Working Cryengine 3 SDK Vehicle

Hey, this is a vehicle i created for a college project. simply put its a tank killer, i thought it would be a good idea to post it here to try and gauge a few peoples reactions, any comments are greatly appreciated Smiling The vehicle is functional in the 3.3.9 release of the SDK and a download can be found here http://www.mediafire.com/?yz2z3jc77geb2qo  (Apologies for the rubbish video quality)

Well in total, taking into account  LOD's and Damaged models it comes to 151,000 tris, the default Humvee is around 90,000 tris. so my model is probably a little on the heavy side, I just couldn't get rid of those wheels Sticking out tongue

Really cool! But wow, that is quite a bit of geometry. I would cut that in half. It still would be too heavy for a vehicle like this but 45k would be much better. Ideally for a vehicle like this I would say 18-28k would be a safe zone.

Yeah the mesh is way to heavy, but its a learning experience for me and it definitely wont be the last vehicle I build. Thanks for your comments as they have been useful Smiling
