Thanks guys.

My machine died last night so I decided to run home and take another short pass on the model. I removed a few bolts and added a fluorescent light attachment at the top.

I also rendered it out at a bit higher res.

@Alex - Love the table flip Smiling

@-HP- Sure thing, I will try to grab some shots of the base model tonight when I get home.

Are you going to go all the way and complete this piece making it game ready?  All the really small normal map fine details can be added using a program like crazybump.

Thanks guys.

@HP - My apologies. Things have been very hectic and I will get that for you asap.

@Sinister - Funny you should mention. Smiling

So, I was trying to relax yesterday and got bored of it. Riddler missions begin to take their tole after a few hours. Thus, I decided to make an in-game version of the pillar.

I ended up spending about 5 hours optimising, retoping, and uv-unwrapping.

Did a bit of work on the base texture today and this passed Sunday.

There is a lot of seam work and texture work that will be done in the future.

The materials read well, but the texture is boring.

No color variation, no life. I only see grey and desaturared brown. I bet you could put a bit more vividnes into it.

Thanks for the advice, I will give that a shot. Btw, sorry for the lack of wires. My max at home is not working anymore and haven't had the time to stick it on a harddrive and bring it up to work to get screen grabs.
