A post apocalyptic  combat vehicle. Its quiet a hi-res model. I wanted to create a rendered image and I have used Mental ray for rendering.

Great work on the model! I really like the idea of a post apocalyptic vehicle. Did you use HDRI lighting on this image?

metalliandy : Thanx. The polycount with meshsmooth is 1025586 tris. A single tyre is 90880. It took hell of time to renderSmile

ceribral : Thanx Dude. Yep I used  HDRI lighting for this vehicle.

Nice stuff dude

But why so many polys where is not needed ?

Because he used smoothing groups... If u look at any highres model most of the polygons are not needed. Only games really worry about polygon counts and that only for the low res model which has the normals projected.
