Hello everyone. I dusted off the the Wacom and made a head in ZBrush last night. It's probably the fifth or sixth project I've ever attempted in the program, but I absolutely love Zbrush. I wasn't too sure how it would come out after so long, so I broke out the first Eat 3D Zbrush DVD by Mike P. and it helped to knock some of the rust off. I'd appreciate any comments, good or bad. Let me have it! Smile

Man this came out GREAT! I love those main pose with him looking down, has a rich comic book style and I can only imagine what he would look like animated kicking some other dudes butt.

One thing to note is the forehead looks a bit low res, this is probably due to less polygons in that area. The only way to fix it would probably be to retologlize it or subdivide it higher. Probably not worth the effort since it looks cool enough now.

Keep up the hard work my friend!

Looking good Chris!

For only the 5th or 6th project you have done some awesome work Laughing out loud

He kinda reminds me of a mix between Kratos from God or War and Nick Fury ^^

My only crit would be is in places the pores looks a little symetrical (on the nose and forhead).

Keep it up man...i cant wait to see some more stuff!

Thank you for the insight. I went to the Eat 3D Academy, what can I say? I got the "C+" today, but I want that "A." Back to the drawing board. I'm know there are all kind of problems with this thing, and I could tweak it for hours, but I'm going to try something a little more ambitious today. I'll get it posted as soon as possible....

I am totally digging the style you have for the piece, and the expression.

The texture and neck area could use more loving, but it's a great piece for how new you are to zbrush.

It is pretty cool to see your art style influencing the 3d you do.

Keep it up!

Looks good Chris!  I like his veins on the side of his head, ads a bit of realism to him.  Can't wait to see more of your stuff!
