Hi all, I recently finished playing Deus Ex Human Revolution and i must say, I LOVE IT!. I was very eager to try and take a crack at it in UDK.
This was created in 7 days. Hope you like it
I have posted more Final screenshots and Work process images on my Website.
Edit: I have posted my 7 day Work in progress screenshots.

It would be great if you would consider posting some more of the wip shots and final stuff on here too

Awesome to see how the textures bring out so much detail. Nice work!
nice work.
LOVE it! Awesome work, good clutter, seriously check out the dx:hr artbook / concept art if you haven't, it's good. And the original deus ex if you haven't - best game ever.
*ahem* Also, 7 days! Amazing, I wish I was that skilled. Need more practice...
nice!
yea not bad.... no seriously, that's pretty awesome, kinda hard to believe that UDK can replicate the look so well, good job!
Love this piece! Keep up the great work! Maybe you could show some of the HP work
nice work dude 10/10
I have a noob question if that is ok, related to he image with blue and grey boxes and down.
Do you generally build the surfaces in the games engine first then go away and model the details?
Thanks

For this environment, first i blocked out the level in Maya and imported it into UDK to check the scale and major asset placement. Once this was done i took the individual assets and started detailing them.
You could block out the basic assets shapes in UDK itself by using bsp brushes, but then again it all depends on your workflow
Thanks! I noticed the blue and grey and thought it was done in the engine. Still lots to learn, thanks
Awesome work.
Andy chance of getting some texture and wire shots?
Killer Scene!
