hi, thanks for these tutorials, they are great,

i was just wondering how they got the ambient pass occlusion,

did they just bake all the objects on to a single plane with projection with mental ray ambient occlusion?

also in stefan morrels tutorial he rendered a uv template? how do you do that?

I don't really understand the images you have posted, what do they relate to?

Also you don't state whether the "40 sided cylinder" is the High poly or the Low poly? Also what are you baking it in?

Have a read through this. It has so much information in there to read about.
