Fast Cloth Alpha Creation In ZBrush

In this demonstration, Andy Davies goes over the creation of cloth alphas in ZBrush 4 R5.

He shows the techniques needed to efficiently create multiple cloth alphas using a range of 2.5d tools within ZBrush, which can then be used as a solid base for sculpting or to compliment existing geometry.

In this demonstration, Erasmus Brosdau composites a 3d render onto a background plate. He shows how to efficiently integrate the rendered mech asset onto a photographic background in Photoshop with a focus realism by using many tips and tricks such as adding noise, blurring the image, adjusting the levels and curves and painting in blades of grass to give the asset a solid feel.

In this demonstration Tor Frick guides you through building a scene from the ground up in Unreal Development Kit (UDK). He starts by blocking out the basic scene in UDK using BSP and then moves on to creating a base asset in Modo by using various poly-modelling and sculpting techniques, from which all the textures will be generated, and then bakes the Normal & Ambient Occlusion maps within Modo.
